Home Care Allentown is a licensed, non‑medical home care agency. We provide personal care, companion care, and daily living assistance to seniors and adults in their own homes.
We are not a medical provider. We do not offer skilled nursing, wound care, medication administration, or any services requiring a medical license. Our caregivers are Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs) trained in non‑medical support only.
If you need medical care, we can help you find appropriate providers. However, we are not responsible for medical outcomes or treatment decisions.
Use of Our Website
By using our website, you agree to:
- Use it for lawful purposes only
- Not submit false or misleading information
- Not attempt to disrupt or hack the website
- Not collect or harvest data about other visitors
We reserve the right to restrict or block access to anyone who violates these terms.
Service Agreements
When you engage our services, you will sign a separate Service Agreement. That document outlines:
- Specific services to be provided
- Schedule and frequency of visits
- Fees and payment terms
- Cancellation policies
- Rights and responsibilities of both parties
In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Conditions and your signed Service Agreement, the Service Agreement will take precedence.
Scheduling and Cancellations
We understand that schedules change. We ask that you notify us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule a visit.
Cancellation policy:
- Cancellations made with at least 24 hours’ notice: no charge
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee
- Late cancellations may be waived for emergencies at our discretion
We reserve the right to adjust schedules due to caregiver availability, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances. We will notify you as promptly as possible.
Payment Terms
Payment is due according to the terms outlined in your Service Agreement. We accept cash, check, credit card, and certain insurance programs, including long‑term care insurance and Medicaid waivers.
Payment details:
- We provide clear pricing before care begins
- No hidden fees
- Late payments may incur a fee
- Billing cycles are weekly or bi‑weekly, depending on your agreement
If you have questions about your bill, please contact our office.
Client Responsibilities
To ensure the safety and effectiveness of care, clients and their families agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about health, needs, and preferences
- Inform us of any changes in health or medical conditions
- Maintain a safe home environment
- Cooperate with caregivers and treat them with respect
- Communicate openly about any concerns
Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in suspension or termination of services.
Liability and Disclaimer
We provide non‑medical services with care and professionalism. However, we cannot guarantee that all risks are eliminated.
Our liability is limited:
- We are not liable for injuries or incidents that occur outside the scope of our services
- We are not responsible for conditions in the home that are not disclosed to us
- We are not liable for medical outcomes or treatment decisions made by medical professionals
- Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for services during the period in question
Clients are encouraged to maintain their own health insurance and homeowners’ insurance.
Emergency Situations
In case of an emergency, our caregivers are trained to:
- Call 911 immediately
- Contact family members or emergency contacts
- Follow your loved one’s emergency care plan
We are not a substitute for emergency medical services. In life‑threatening situations, always call 911 first.
Third‑Party Links
Our website may contain links to third‑party sites, for example, to resources or referral partners.
We are not responsible for:
- The content or accuracy of external sites
- The privacy practices or security of external sites
- Any damages or losses arising from your use of external sites
Visiting third‑party links is at your own risk.
Privacy Intellectual Property

Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions, together with your signed Service Agreement and our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Home Care Allentown.
They supersede any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.
